ringd.py - what is it?

A simple python program to listen to a modem for a certain minimum and maximum number of telephone rings, or two single rings spaced a certain time apart. It then initiates a net connection (or some other command). There are a range of configurable parameters in an .ini file. The program is released under the GPL 'as is'.

The program was developed with Python 1.5.2 on RedHat Linux 7.0.
